In yet another exciting week of wins for Daemon TWO, PBL and Warner Home Video are both embarking on new social media campaigns with the business.
Daemon TWO has been engaged by Warner Bros. Entertainment Australia to run the social media campaigns to launch the home entertainment releases of The Vampire Diaries: The Complete First Season and Gossip Girl: The Complete Third Season in Australia.
PBL has also engaged the business to launch their new Powered brand into the social media landscape.
Warner Bros.’ move follows other successful social media campaigns, including the DVD release of The Hangover, designed and executed by what was then called Daemon Digital.
The campaign generated more than 53,000 Australian Facebook fans for The Hangover with an unsubscribe rate of just 1.7%.
For the duration of the project it is estimated that the content and updates shared through the Facebook page generated almost 7.5m impressions in news feeds. This content included footage from the movie and behind the scenes clips which received over 7,000 views, while competition entry photos were viewed almost 20.000 times.
The result? An interested and engaged community was handed back to Warner Bros, ready for the next stage of the communications strategy.
